A residential development of 1,250 dwellings set in a redundant quarry adjacent to the Medway town of Snodland, Holborough is a unique development site of 1,250 dwellings set amongst attractive landscaping and water features. The Masterplan for the site is divided into 12 separate phases with their own distinct character and identity, but still respecting the traditional Kent vernacular.
The first phases have been built in a ‘New England’ style in various colours of weatherboarding. The entrance ‘Boulevard’ leads past a linear form of apartments either side of a tree lined avenue to the rest of the development. Later phases include contemporary lakeside apartments, a convenience store, gym and further dwellings to complete the transition to the Kent vernacular.
