We are a modern architectural practice with experience in a wide range of architectural styles and broad range of projects.

What we do

OSP Architecture is an established Chartered Architects practice with offices in Farnham, Solent and Bristol. We specialise in residential developments for large housebuilders, conservation work and commercial projects in the South East and South West of England. In addition to our primary skills in architecture, we also offer space planning, interior design, planning advice, landscape design and 3D visualisations.

Makes us who we are

We are an experienced and well qualified team of architects, designers and masterplanners who are able to provide a full architectural service for your project from inception through to construction. In addition to our primary skills in architecture, we can also offer space planning, interior design and landscape design. We pride ourselves on (and have many awards for) building conservation and refurbishment, sensitive and innovative residential design, building strong relationships with planning authorities and the presentation of our work.

OSP Architecture is a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Registered Practice and many of our staff are members of professional organisations including ARB (Architects Registration Board), RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute), RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors), CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists), CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) and the SAI (Society of Architectural Illustrators).

Meet the Team

Peter O’Keefe and Danny Scanlon formed the company in 1985 having worked together at Wheelers of Ealing and before that at Diamond Redfern & Partners, Peter retired from OSP Architecture in 2013 and Danny in 2014. Julian Bohling and Paul Dallain joined the company in 1994 and 1997 respectively, later becoming directors and then Partners.

CIOB Part I & II

Julian has been with OSP Architecture for 25 years of his career experience of over 30 years. He has a technical background to his education which culminated in the completion in the Chartered Institute of Building Part I and II qualifications. Architectural experience is extremely varied majoring on residential of varying scales but also including, hotels, commercial interiors and exteriors, conservation, refurbishment and listed buildings and interior design.

Paul joined OSP Architecture in 1997 having graduated from Oxford Polytechnic and Plymouth University. Paul has principally been involved in planning works for mid to large scale residential and mixed-use schemes; developing masterplans, site layouts and building designs for varying scales of development. Paul has also led a number of commercial, healthcare and educational projects during his time at OSP Architecture and has experience with planning appeal work.

Quentin Andrews

Quentin Andrews

Quentin joined OSP in 2014 after spending 25 years at PRP Architects. He has a passion for placemaking and has over 35 years experience of working with private developers on residential development schemes, and consortia delivering mixed use masterplans of 500 – 2200 dwellings for new build communities, and preparing associated documentation including Design Codes. He has been on study tours to Hammarby Sjostad in Stockholm, and Freiberg and Berlin in Germany to look at continental exemplar housing schemes.

Quentin has also been involved in the reserved matters delivery of housing and neighbourhood centre facilities as part of these masterplans, and in urban regeneration and renewal projects with associated tenant consultation. Quentin has also delivered housing for older people.

Since graduating from the Sheffield School of Architecture in 1994 David has been continually employed as an architect, masterplanner, urban designer and illustrator. David is responsible for all project stages from initial sketches to contract administration, has a wealth of experience as an illustrator and is a member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators.

David has been with the practice for over 6 years and is the Director of the Farnham Office.

Roger Beach

Roger is an architect, master planner and qualified Principal Designer and holds the position of Managing Director of the Solent office in Fareham. He joined OSP in 2015 and brings with him a wealth of experience in the design and procurement of residential developments. Roger's experience stretches across the sector from one off houses for domestic clients to large scale housing developments, from bespoke rural developments to urban infilling and from sheltered accommodation to extra care developments and communities.

Roger acts as the companies competent person for CDM and workplace Health and Safety, and is also a member of the APS (Association for Project Safety).

Patrick Graham

After qualifying from Nottingham and Westminster Universities, Patrick moved to London, working for 5 years within the fast paced, design driven London scene. He worked on the Stirling Prize nominated Christ's College secondary school in Guildford and was the project architect for a number of high spec residential refurbishments in Notting Hill and St John's Wood.

Patrick joined OSP 7 years ago and was instrumental in setting up the Bristol office. With experience in extensions, conversions, one-off bespoke houses as well as larger developer led housing schemes, Patrick can offer an understanding of cost efficiency, timing and quality of design throughout the build process.
