Outline Planning Permission for 60 New Homes in Uckfield

Last month, we were pleased to hear that an appeal was allowed for 60 new homes (with 35% affordable housing) in Uckfield. OSP worked with our client Obsidian Strategic on the outline planning application for this scheme, which represents an opportunity to deliver a residential development that responds to the future housing needs of Uckfield in a manner that is sensitive to the site and its setting.
The vision for the site is to deliver a high-quality residential development through a landscape and ecology-led approach. The proposals have been arranged around the existing green infrastructure of hedgerows and tree belts, including the 20m buffer to the Ancient Woodland. This approach will also enable the provision of a generous amount of open space for new and existing residents to enjoy.
