Approval for 250 New Homes in Yapton,
West Sussex

Our client, The Hyde Group received unanimous approval by Arun District Council for 250 new homes in Yapton, West Sussex after submitting the application in August 2021.
The Design teams’ approach was to develop the work completed at outline stage to produce the cross development, design code and the subsequent RM application. We have worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure that this parcel of the SD7 allocation is delivered to become a positive asset to the village and create a positive legacy for this expanding community.
The detail of the scheme has been developed and amended through the application process to ensure that the 250 homes are of the type, mix and size to meet local needs.
Architecturally the traditional designs build on the character area analysis completed at outline stage and the progression of this through the Design Code and into the application detail design.
