Hawridge Strategic Land received approval for 80 new homes at land at Riding Court Road and London Road in Datchet in September 2023. The scheme will provide a mix of high-quality apartments, and 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses that respond to local housing need. This includes 40% (32 homes) affordable housing.

The site will also provide a large and accessible open space area to serve existing and future residents, provisions for cycle and pedestrian links to improve connectivity and linkages to other facilities and services in the village, as well as food growing opportunities through proposed allotments.
