Approval for 220 dwellings in St Leonards, Hastings

In December 2021, our client Bellway Homes received approval for 220 dwellings on a brownfield site in St Leonards, Hastings.
The development will deliver a mix of one to four bed dwellings on a site with some challenging constraints, especially the site levels and utilities corridors.
The development proposals emerged from the outline consent but with a reworked master plan so the submitted reserved matters scheme was more landscape led and legible, with a strong public realm and place making.
