We are delighted to announce that phase II of the scheme at Pound Farm, London Road, Hitchin, has been approved. Overall, the proposal includes 84 new homes in a range of sizes to meet local needs, with 32 designated as affordable housing.
A new roundabout from London Road, shaped by local feedback, will create a safe and welcoming entrance to the neighbourhood. Trees and hedgerows around the site will be maintained and new planting and habitats will be added to support wildlife and strengthen the Green Belt edge.
The development will also feature public green space and a children’s play area, creating a safe and sociable place for families to relax and enjoy time outdoors.
Thanks to our client, Elivia Homes, and the whole team who helped shape the design. We are excited that this concludes the planning process on this site and we can focus our attention on the delivery of these homes as we work up the detailed design.
