Approval for Hybrid Planning Application at Land at Garlick’s Arch,
Burnt Common, Surrey

Our Clients, London Strategic Land and Countryside Properties received approval to this hybrid planning application in June 2021.
The site was allocated by Guildford Borough Council for a total of 550 new homes. The application comprised a detailed planning application for 220 homes and an outline application for the balance of 300 homes.
The architectural character of the scheme was designed to respond to the Surrey vernacular and to create a new place as an extension to the existing communities of Burnt Common and Send Marsh.
Extensive consultation was undertaken with planning officers, the local community and Design Southeast and approval was received at local level.
